    Has anyone realized how hard it is to find decent examples of short haired brides? I can't be the only nearly-pixie cut bride out there! Lets see some hair photos! How are you going to wear your veil with your short hair? Are you doing anything different to your hair for your wedding?

    Not only do I have short hair, but I have short dreadlocked hair so it's even harder finding stylists that will come up with creative styling ideas. I'm actually dreading (no pun intended) trying to find a way to handle hair and makeup!

    I'm leaning in the direction of rhinestone or bejeweled hairpins rather than a full-length, traditional veil. But I love the hat/veil style in the photo you posted -- very pretty!

    Yay for short haired brides! I don't have quite as short as pixie cut, but at the moment it's down to around my chin and I don't plan on having it any longer for the wedding! I got a custom piece made on etsy and plan on wearing it in my hair, which will have soft curls. My hair is normally quite curly, so I plan on essentially having the hairdresser make it look a bit classier (blowdry it so the curls aren't so insane!)

    @honeypants

     Dreads would be awesome for a wedding (in my opinion anyways). Our pastor who is marrying us has fairly long dreadlocks. I've always wished I could pull them off with my hair type, but I know I'd end up looking silly and unkempt.

     Beautiful hairpiece!!

    Actually, my veil is fitted over a headband made by twigs and honey. My hair is too short and too fine to hold a clip

    I'm gonna have a short inverted bob by the time I get married (have a pixie now). No photos yet but I'll have some eventually.

    EAQ219, it was custom made by Lo Boheme: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6465412

    She's seriously awesome. I would highly recommend her.
