I have short hair and I’m not seeing a lot of inspiration for the wedding day. My hair goes to my jaw line with kind of choppy layers. I normally don’t do headbands but I really liked the one I tried on at DB. I’m thinking maybe headband and no veil? How do you even keep in a veil with short hair?
I’m also wondering whether I should get it freshly cut a week or two before the wedding or let it be more grown out and get it cut about 2 months before the wedding. Either way my hair will be quite short but my FI likes it a little grown out better, more texturized.
Please post your pics and advice

Hey there! I have neck/only just shoulder length hair and I just had my trial. Going for loose, messy curls. These photos aren’t great because I’d already yanked out my haircomb and then placed it back in just for the photo, but you still get the general idea. Also I don’t know why they’re sideways :/

@crookedframe: your curls look great! I need to try and curl my hair soon to see if its long enough or if it will just turn into a big puff ball on my head. If I did my hair like yours I would for sure need some serious product

@Jbunny: thank you! I was pretty surprised by how well they held without insane amounts of product. The hairdresser sprayed my hair to set it but it wasn’t crunchy or anything. My hair is naturally wavy but he straightened it all before curling so it would do exactly what he wanted it to.

@Jbunny: I have relatively short hair and had a little trouble finding a hair style. Luckily my hair was long enough to be put into an french braid that went into a side chignon.

@Jbunny: i have short hair and i wore a fascinator with an alligator clip and a birdcage with a comb. they didn’t move all night.
to hold in a heavier veil, i know that stylists criss cross bobby pins and insert the comb under it.
