ok so im having a courthouse wedding then a reception at an italian restaurant nothing fancy but we wil be having a pro photographer because i do want lovely pictures who knows when ill get married again right? hehe soo heres my dress
& it turns into this
i was planning on wearing the dress short and when i bought it i was with my bms so my mom hadnt seen it. I received my sash yesterday so i tried it on for her and she LOVES it long! so now im debating if i should wear it long for the ceremony and some pictures then take off the skirt for the reception and other pictures?
soo long THEN short?
also i bought a birdcage veil
i dont have a better picture and i havent received it for some reason db doesnt have their stuff in stock? but anyways i loved the this veil with the SHORT dress and now im not so sure itll look nice with the long skirt???
soo birdcage veil with long dress or not? or get a long veil with the long dress.
the thing is i dont want to over do it because its just a courthouse wedding and i dont want it to be over the top!
soo any advice is GREATLY appreciated

I think the birdcage will look great with the long skirt. It makes it more fun and casual, like your wedding–loosens up the fancier longer skirt.

you think? it just sucks because i dont remember tryin on the bc veil with the long skirt so no idea how it’ll look.

I love the dress long! It’s gorgeous!! Courthouse, church, beach, hotel…you are still a bride on one of the biggest days of your life. Wear what makes you feel good and don’t worry about being “over the top”. You look beautiful!

Add a poll 🙂
But yeah, you can still rock the birdcage with the long skirt.

thanks! thats what my mom told me but i feel that the skirt is kind of plain? was thinking of adding a little beading on the bottom of the skirt?

Love your dress! It’s very classic and elegant! Looks really cute with the birdcage veil too!

I love the dress long too! So, I definitely think you could do long for ceremony and some pics, then short for the rest of the pics and the reception – And IMO that veil would be great with the long & short! (Think about it, it’s not just short dress brides that wear BC veils… So you totally can!) You look beautiful, by the way!
