Hi bees. I am five cycles off BC and think my cycle is regulating at about 29 days. I am not charting but use the clearblue fertility monitor and check CM and it looks like I’m ovulating around day 20-22. So this past cycle, the luteal phase was only 7 days. I know that is typically too short to be able to get pregnant. I ordered vitamin B-6 and just started taking it. Any other suggestions? Anything I can take to help this or things to avoid? Also, any success stories with a short luteal phase? Thanks for your help!!

See what the B6 does this cycle. I took 50mg daily and it changed my LP by 3-4 days the first cycle. I got pregnant the second cycle on it – not that I’m saying the B6 is the reason, but I don’t think it hurt. I was surprised that such a small amount affected my cycle so quickly, but I wasn’t doing anything else differently.

i may be in the same boat as you. since TTC, i’ve spotted both times before getting AF. i called gyn concerned. she thinks my luteral phase might be too short or i may be low on progesterone. both not good environment for pregnancy.
since @kate02121: suggested B6, i checked my pre-natal vitamins. mine say 104% DV which is 2.6mg, no where near 50mg. maybe i will try that too.
i have a blood test scheduled on CD24 to check my progesterone levels and see what gyn says i do for next cycle.
good luck to you!
