What about tea length? With the Vermont venue (which sounds awesome) I think that tea length could be a good, more retro/vintage vibe that will look super cute with the surroundings! Something like this:

My Maid/Matron of Honor chose long and all the rest of the girls got short.. I thought it looked adorable.. maybe do both?!

Are you getting married/having some of your reception outside? If so, I would say your other girls could go short and your Maid/Matron of Honor could go long. Since she’s the Maid/Matron of Honor, she can stand out 🙂 I also like a PP’s suggestion of tea length. I looooove tea length and think it looks so classy on pretty much everyone. You could definitely do tea length as a laid back formal look 🙂

I think it’s easier to find a nice, quality knee-length dress than it is to find an equally nice long one on the same price range. Not saying there aren’t beautiful long dresses out there; I just think you have to be pickier about it.

@TopazWedding:  I like this idea.  This way the Maid/Matron of Honor can distinguish herself as well!
