Our wedding is next year, but:

Number of edited engagement photographs you received: None. An engagement shoot is not included. We’re doing a DW and will not be able to meet with the photographer in advance.

Number of edited wedding photographs you received: Not married yet, but I expect about 500-1000.

Length of engagement shoot: N/A

Length of wedding day: We are getting 4 or 5 hours, the photographer promised it would cover getting ready, ceremony, photos after, and part of the reception. We also added in a trash the dress shoot to follow the next day for a few hours as well.

Did you have a second shooter?: Yes.

Your region: She’s from Canada, but travels and we’ll be doing it in Punta Cana

What you paid (if you feel like providing this): She worked with us on our budget. $3k and that includes the $500 TTD shoot, a DVD with all our pictures, our pictures online, access to everything. No album though.

Did you have a second shooter?: yes – our photogs are a husband and wife pair – the wife is the second shooter

As a photographer, I’ll answer too for my pricing and stuff…

Number of edited engagement photographs you received:  I provide up to 50 edited photos. High Resolution images, printing rights.

Number of edited wedding photographs you received: I provide at least 350-600 photos. Depennds if I have a second shooter, if there is cooperation, if we have an overall good day. Yes, some weddings turn out to be LAME (lame wedding party that doesn’t cooperate with pictures, lame guests that do not dance so we don’t end up with good or as many reception pictures)

Length of engagement shoot:  anywhere from 30  minutes to a few hours.  Grooms typically run out of patience and want to wrap things up. Some guys have fun and can keep going.

Length of wedding day:  8-9 hours is a typical wedding day for me.

Did you have a second shooter?:  I always have a 2nd shooter with me. She can capture differnet angles and focus more on details and guests and family while I focus more on the bride and groom during the day

Your region:  Pennsylvania

What you paid (if you feel like providing this):  Roughly $2000 is my rate, e-session is included

PS:  I’d prefer quality over quanity…
