I think it could look pretty cool! Something different.

Honestly, I think that would look odd. But it would take me all of 5 seconds to get over it. Nothing wrong with being unusual.

@gena_lynn:  I love the idea of all of them in a long dress and you in a short dress! It will look fun and elegant all at once 🙂

I think if you and all your bridesmaids are in short dresses and only MOH in long, it will look weird. But I like the idea of all of them being in long dresses an you in a short one.

Tbh, the only unconvetional thing here is your short wedding dress. And that would attract comments/suprise whatever your bridesmaids wore. I’m sure it’s a gorgeous dress, but equally you know that it will be centre of attention (duh, you’re the bride!). So do whatever you like 🙂

I like the idea of them all in maxi dresses and you in a cute short dress.

It’s not the first time the MOH would have a different dress at the wedding. If you’re worried about it looking too weird though would she be more comfortable wearing panty hose? And how long does it need to be to make her feel comfortable? You could see if she’s ok with past knee length. Unless it’s a religious thing because I have a friend that will only wear maxi dresses and skirts. If you’re good at photoshop you could play with some ideas too. I think no matter what you do it’ll still look nice 🙂
