Hello my lovely ladies! I desperately need your advice. I will be having four bridesmaids on the wedding. All of them have totally different taste and style, so it will be very hard to chose a dress that will appeal to all of them. Plus, they will be buying their own dresses, so it will propbably be impolite to dictate a specific type of dress they “must” be wearing. The only thing we agreed on is them getting dresses in blush pink to match my wedding dress sash + theme. Do you think this will be ok if one wears a dress that is long and classy and the other one gets short, more girly style, and the third puts on something vintage for example??

There are a bunch of different ways you can go with this. You can ask them to all choose from the same designer/manufacturer, so they have different styles & lengths but the fabric & color is an exact match. Or you can give them some basic guidelines to stay within, i.e. get the same length skirts …
Another option is for you to pick out a range of dresses (maybe 15-20 options) that you think are acceptable and coordinate well enough with one another, and then ask them to choose from among them. Or you can ask them to find whatever they like but consult with you before pulling the trigger. If you have final approval, then you can make sure that whatever they get will go well enough with what the other three are choosing.

I would say at least have them all the same length or fabric if you do nothing else. My girls WANT to wear the same dresses so I don’t have to worry about that.

I went through Aria for my bridesmaid dresses. They were able to pick whatever style they wanted but it had to be the same material, colour and knee length.

Mine all chose different black dresses (and different brands/materials), but I gave them some guidelines and they were all knee length. It just matters what look you prefer. Blush pink may be harder to match if you’re hoping for an exact shade. If you don’t care if they match exactly, you could always send them shopping with a paint chip of the color you like–my friend did that so her BMs could match their dresses as closely as possible and it worked well!

I’m in the same boat, I have 5 girls and they are all totally different shapes and sizes and personal taste. Since they’re paying for the dresses, I gave them some guidelines (knee-length, non-strapless) and gave them color swatches and told them to pick whatever made them feel beautiful.
