Without a doubt, I’ve stressed more about my bridesmaids dressess than my own. I keep finding dresses I like, but then “nix” them because they don’t have any similiarties to my own. What’s the “rule??” Our wedding is at a beautiful Tuscan venue with gunmetal greys, dark purples and hints of light purple.
Here is my favorite BM dress (I would have them altered to be more form-fitted) and below is my dress. Thoughts??

@186madds: These are the others that are in the running. All in a dark grey.

they are all nice! it really matters what you think and want to portray for your wedding..my bm dresses dont match mine at all.. orginally we were looking for somethng similar but then we found a line we all liked ( inlcuding FI) and it goes with our theme..so that was the winner

I don’t care for the combo of the first dress with yours, but I like the rest. But I’d say no, their dresses don’t have to match.

I’d say that you might want them to compliment each other, but I don’t think the bridesmaid dresses have to match the bride’s. However, I would lean toward one of the last three dresses rather than the first one.

Personally I dont think they have to match. Since I have varying ages (18-34) and sizes (7-16) throughout my BM’s I am letting them each pick a dress they feel beautiful in. The only requirements I have is that they be black and knee-ish length. And I have to give the ok before they buy.

My consultant told me to try and get complementary fabrics. I have a satin dress and just happen to prefer satin BM dresses next to it over any other fabrics.
I personally like the red one with the beading on it for your BM dresses. Any of the bottom 3 would work in my opinon.
