No, you're irrational and crazy, plus that will be expensive. : (8 votes)

    -Change my custom wedding band?

    Hi again Bees,

After having my 7 stone diamond sapphire ring custom made (ring size 3.5 couldn't be bought at a store I was told) and growing to love it and the many things it symbolizes for me and FI (we got engaged right after the royal wedding, his favorite color, and my 'something blue', the overall uniqueness, etc.) I did something I should NOT be allowed to do while FI was wandering around Gamestop-I tried on some bands at the mall jewelry store!

I tried on 5 and 7 stone all diamond prong set rings that look exactly like my current band and LOVED the extra blingy look! Of course none of the rings were my size, could not be ordered, and the only option would be to replace the 4 sapphires (which I still like)in my current band with 4 diamonds.(AHHH more $$$!)

Although the overall ring is symbolic of my FI and I, he did not have any part in the design process, and if he did, I wouldn't fathom switching. Is this irrationaland crazy? Help:-/

    My current set:

Should I...... : wedding wedding band sapphires bling Ring 7

Change all 4 sapphires to diamonds or keep my original, more unique look?

@19801111:   I don't think you should change it.  I love your band with saphires.  It is also unique, and beautiful the way it is.

As a lover of anything sapphire I would say don't change it. Your band is so unique and I think it is absolutely gorgeous! You have enough sparkle and bling in that beautiful e-ring of yours :)

I voted to keep your set as is since your WB is gorgeous.  Can you add a diamond band later for an anniversary?  That way you get both.

Agreed, you can get an all diamond band for an anniversary and interchange them later on.

Next time you get the urge to try some on like that you should call your MOH or something for an intervention!!

@LittleRiver: Yes, great idea on the anniversary band....I've prepped my FI and he knows where to go and that he will have to have it custom made, also to start saving that cash:)

The more I think about it, all diamonds would be too overpowering with the size of the stones in the band.
