I was searching around the internet to see if my dress was on the runway. What I found was an campaign for the designer on Youtube. They added a bolero to my dress which makes it look unbelievable! Take a look at the Youtube video, at exactly 11 seconds they will show my dress topped with a bolero. http://www.youtube.com/user/justinalexanderbride#p/u/5/DRenlgGhod4
Below is a picture of the dress on another model. Tell me what you think.

The Bolero looks beautiful, but I don’t necessarily think its needed unless you’re having a wedding during cooler weather/need to be covered up while in the church. Really, the dress looks great either way 🙂

I grabbed a screen shot for you :). I think it’s really cute with the bolero, but maybe you could wear it for the ceremony and take it off for the reception of vice versa? It’s so pretty either way!

I think the bolero in the video is going to be really hard to pull off if you plan to wear it the whole time. It would be great in dramatic photos and could even add a vintage vibe or haute vibe to your look, but for example if I were to wear it people would look at me like I was odd. It wouldn’t match my normal style at all or my personality. If it’s totally YOU then go for it! It just depends on how comfortable you are, how YOU look and feel in the bolero ! It does make it look dramatic and amazing though… My two cents… Love the dress!

I love boleros personally. I think it’s adorable!

@jo.lee: Thank you so much for doing that. I’m not computer savy at all.
@staceynrick: I’m thinking I could wear it for the church ceremony. The priest did ask me to cover my shoulders while in church but I was going to just ignore his request. I would take it off for the reception.

@SoontobeMsL: No worries! I can’t do it on my work computer, but with my laptop at home it’s really easy to do.
Since he asked you to cover your shoulders in the church and you really like it, I would definitely say go for it!

@SoontobeMsL: I agree, wear it for the church ceremony (especially if asked) and take it off for the party.. it will transform your look from one event to the other and you will still look beautiful!

I totally agree about the ceremony/reception thing & since the priest did ask you, you can honor his request and still look great! 🙂

I love the look of boleros, so I would vote yes, for myself; however, it would totally be up to you and what your comfort level is. The idea of wearing it for the ceremony and then taking it off for the reception is a good one. If I were you, I would get the bolero, but I would probably wear it the entire time.

I think it would be lovely to do for the ceremony and that way you are also honoring the priests request.
