Why not just wear a corset inside th dress to give you added shape? You look great already!

Seems like an expense you don’t necessarily need. The dress looks great like it is. It might have to much going on with it. I guess it depends on how much you want one 🙂

I actually wore this exact dress for my wedding. I would not add a corset to this. If you do, take it to very experienced seamstress. The way the fabric gathers and comes in at the zipper could be problematic. The dress you have pictured, with the corset, was made with a pattern to have it already. This dress is not. FWIW, I did not have any issues with the zipper.

I, personally, would say yes.  First, I LOVE the look of corset-backs.  They are kind of sexy!  And then, you’re right, its a guarantee you will feel fabulous in your dress.  You can adjust each bit of the bodice to make it fit you however you need or want it too.  I wore a bridesmaid dress with a corset back and it felt great the whole night.

Though make sure it will work with your dress first 🙂

I voted no just because I’m not a fan of the corset look.

I’m also not a fan of a corset.  Wearing a corset inside is a thought!

I was against a corset back when I went shopping. I was set on buttons. And I got them… but there is a part of me that wishes I had a corset now so that I would be so worried about the fit or needing to get it taken in. So since the back of your dress doesn’t have buttons as a detail and since the example you posted looks so nice, I voted to add the corset! Do what will make you feel the most secure on your wedding day 🙂 You look beautiful, btw.
