@ES- This means you are organized! Not everyone has the same experience, and it seems like you've been doing what you've needed to do. Kick back, relax and enjoy this time... and please, tell us your secrets. I want to be you in a couple of months!
ES123 - you are my idol! I'm still 10 months out but I'm really trying to get everything done as soon as possible so I can just relax and check check check off my lists come the last 50 days. I agree - share your secrets! Did you have a long engagement? Did you use a to do list from a specific site or did you just create your own? I wouldn't worry too much right now ... reevaluate when you get to 30 days ... figure out what you want to be doing the last 5 days before the weddding, make sure there is nothing on that list that can't be done sooner. Otherwise - congrats, you figured out how to plan a wedding stress free. :)
I am SO jealous! But it sounds like you are perfectly organized and ready to go!
I know a lot of my items (and my future stress) come from a lot of DIY projects that need to be done. Like menus and centerpieces and DIY invitations and vows and such. Do you have all those under control? Could you try and get ahead on any of those with your free time?
I thought the exact same thing but, low and behold you really are good to go until a few weeks before!! Everyone is right you are just super organized and if you are like me you wanted everything done immediatly and early. Just enjoy this time reflecting and pampering yourself!!
I was pretty well organized and pretty much never freaked out, never felt like wedding planning consumed my life, etc. I never felt like every weekend was dedicated to the wedding and most weekday nights after work I went to the gym and did absolutely nothing wedding related. Althuogh I did spend time on WB during the day at work :)
Oh I'm definitely on WB at work! I think it might be because I'm not really DIY-ing anything, and I did try to get a lot of stuff done early. It's just that I really don't feel as organized as you all are giving me credit for...that's why I'm worried! I'm sure wubz is right and 4 weeks from now I'm be hanging from the rafters with steam coming out of my ears!
I was in the same boat as you. Not freaked out at all. I think it was because I didn't do any DIY projects. About a week before the wedding, I put together the OOT bags and organized what we needed to bring with us to the hotel. That was it. Be happy that you're not stressed! Enjoy it!

Other spring brides and newlyweds....my wedding is 53 days away. I feel like I should be really busy and freaking out! But, I'm not. Instead, I feel like I have nothing I need to do. I have certain things scheduled (make-up, walk through, final meeting with caterer, dance lessons, counseling) but when I get home from work every day, I'm not doing anything wedding related. When I first started planning my wedding, I thought that when I got this close it would be super-stressful. Instead, I'm stressed out because I'm not really worried about anything yet. Were you busy at this time in your planning? Or were you just twiddling your thumbs thinking "I should be doing something"?
