You can also order custom stamps online through stores like www.impressrubberstamps.com or on etsy through an array of vendors. I would suggest going this route rather than a Gocco, unless you are planning on using for other areas of your wedding, too.
I don't recommend getting a Gocco unless you think you'll be using it extensively for other projects beyond these STDs, and even then there is the issue of Gocco supplies possibly being hard to get!
I think you should try the rubber stamp route again. I'm not sure about shipping $ since you're in AU, but I know I've come across a few truly custom rubber stamp vendors, one being Impress Rubber Stamps (impressrubberstamps.com). The investment will be significantly less than buying a Gocco =). But again, if you can see yourself getting a lot of mileage out of a screenprinting machine, then go for it!
I did try to contact Impress Rubber Stamps but haven't heard back yet. Then with shipping and all I don't know how long the wait would be. (I just got my valentine's card from my parent's last week) I'm starting to get impatient because I feel like I should have gotten these out weeks ago.
If the STDs go okay, I could see myself using the gocco for the other paper products for the wedding. Invites, programs etc. I think I might just do it. I can always chuck it back on ebay if I can't handle it!
Has anyone used the gocco? is it easy?
The gocco is easy to use- there is lots of information and also links to lots of posts about it here:http://wiki.weddingbee.com/Gocco
OK I have bought it! Will let you all know how I go..
next question, where is the best place to get bulbs, screens and ink from?
ebay HAHA That's where I got all of my stuff. You're in Austrailia now?? There were a few buyers from there on ebay....so check for them...that way you can save on the shipping. Good luck!!

I have purchased these great vintage postcards that I am using for my STDs. I don't want to handwrite the info onto them because my handwriting isn't too stunning. I have tried to think of every route possible to get the info onto these postcards. Printers keep eating them, professional printers can't print onto them (because of the size and rounded corners apparently), thought about ordering a stamp but it would need to be approx 9cm x 7cm and any I have seen in Au you just get to pick your text and have to use whatever boring font, so now I have turned to the ever elusive Gocco. I found a used one on ebay that will cost me about $350 AU. Is the gocco worth it? Does anyone have any other suggestions for what I can do?
