I got a picture of the imitation dress but not sure if i'm being overly picky.... the original dress was the pnina torney (sp?) dress that costs $24k!  this one is 1/100th of the cost but i feel like it looks a bit cheap.

pls tell me your honest thought about this dress, i want to know if this looks like a "cheap" dress

    thanks!

Looks cheap. Like a prom dress or something.

I do not think that it looks cheap, I like it very much, actually, but I think that you should feel very comfortable with your choice, so if to you it seems cheap, perhaps it's not the best idea to get it.

Im a bit ho hum about it. But simply thats MY taste and not yours.

I like the design but and I love the underlay, I think the bit that is off putting is the flowers around the top, and the color, that dress sure has potential tho, just a few tweaks!

If you already thinks it looks cheap you will absolutely regret your decision after buying it. Save yourself the heartache sister. There are more fish in the sea.

I think that maybe you don't really like this dress but are so in love with the pnina torney that you are considering this one. But these aren't really the same dress. I agree with hourieg.

In my opinion, this really doesn't hold a candle to the original Pnina Tornai design, whose extravagant details work because it's made with extremely luxe fabrics by people who are dedicated to making a high-quality piece and so pay attention to every last detail...how the fabric falls, the placing of the beading, the perkiness of the flowers, etc etc.  I think you can find something gorgeous and a lot more tasteful in that price range without it being a Pnina knockoff.

Oh honey, I feel your pain.  My dress is a Pnina...and also nearly a third of my budget. :O   I'm going to have to sell it afterwards.  Most sane people wouldn't make this decision.

Why not look into the Maggie Sottero Ambrosia or SaBelle gowns?

I don't think it looks cheap at all. It looks very very pretty. The side flowers look like they may be about to fall off though. Could we get a picture of you in it?

Hi bobbypinpearls,  no i do not have a pix of myself in this dress.  i got it from a vendor in china manufacturing so that's why the dress is super cheap (price wise).  i know the quality and craftsmanship is not as good as the real designer but not sure what you guys thought if you see a friend wearing some'n like this on a wedding day.

i'm glad you guys are very very honest and helpful with your respones.  thanks~
