So the shape of my engagement ring is a little unique and there was no band made to fit it nor was there one out there that could fit it. I also actually don’t mind the whole gap thing.
When initially looking at bands, I went back and forth b/w white gold, rose gold, w/ diamonds, plain, yada yada yada (saw a rerun of seinfield last night, lol sorry) Finally I decided forget about a band for the moment and I will figure it out later. On our wedding day I was surprised when we were placing rings on our fingers with my sweet rose gold band along with my E ring. Love him 🙂
However, after having the rings for a few months I find myself going gaga over white gold sapphire (my birthstone) and diamond bands. I’m not sure what to do…ask for it as an anniversary band? Swap my bands from time to time? I’m pretty sentimental, so I’m torn. I’ve also considered maybe as an anniversary or birthday present getting my same band in white gold to stack (love that look).
Wow this is long…sorry…anyone wanna share their opinons? Here is my ring and band together:
And here is the band I am drooling over:
or should I maybe go with something like this?

I think it would look neat to stack the first blue sapphire and diamond ring with your wedding set. You could also always mix and match all three rings–you wouldn’t have to wear them all at once if you don’t want to.
But srsly, that first blue sapphire ring is gorgeous and I think it would look really neat next to your unique and stunning engagement ring.
Just my two cents 😉

I love your rings together. You got married with the rose gold band (I lost my band that I got married with & I will never forgive myself for that) so I say KEEP it! Get a stacker for an anniversary or get it as a RHR for your self!

i don’t really think the band you like “goes”. i like your set just as it is. the touch of rose gold is lovely and not overpowering.

Love sapphire band #1, and i think that would be the most complimentary with your ring.

Another vote for the first one. I think you could stack them together or where the sapphire band as a RHR. Either would be lovely.

Oh and I also love the first sapphire band you posted! You should get that as your anniversary band.

Thank you all so much! You rock! 🙂 Still not sure exactly what to do but this has helped me get off to a start!
@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Awww thank you! Boosts my self esteem 🙂 Sometimes I feel a bit lonely here on the Bee. And I agree with the whole rose gold band being my TRUE wedding band, it does mean a lot. BTW I’m glad you are back, you always have such great insight and advice.
