VioletV:  I genuinely love how they look now, it’s more interesting in my opinion. But it’s personal preference what people like the look of. I have a friend who has a channel set engagement ring, channel set wedding band and channel set eternity ring. It’s just too much to me it looks like one big ring, I like the contrast of metal and diamonds.

So in all honesty I love how your rings look now but if it’s not the look you love you should change it. Maybe go and try a channel set engagement ring on somewhere and see how you like it. Good luck x

VioletV:  do you mean channel set the shoulders and keep the solitaire or just have a channel set band instead?

Your set and rings are gorgeous as they are as well!

I love how your ering looks separate and on it’s own personally. I think diamonds on the band of it might take attention away from your center stone. I love your stack!

But of course, you should get what you love and obviously it is bothering you, so I say, do what makes YOU happy.

VioletV:  I would say that the set looks great as it is. The contrast of the e-ring’s plain band works well with the channel sets on either side. I believe that to have channel-set stones on the e-ring will be ‘too much’. An alternative idea would be to re-set the stone into an un-tapered shank so the shape sits flush your other rings.

I like it the way it is. The plain shoulders of your ering highlights your stone and makes it the centre of attention! Gorgeous set.

I personally like the way it looks now, but I’m all for gaps and mismatched rings.  If you like a flush look, then go for it!!
