I love the length, I think it looks pretty as is :-).  If anything I think maybe a few long layers would look nice & no more than a couple of inches off.

I would say experiment with some up dos. YouTube has a lot of great easy tutorials. Post preg shedding will stop in time and everything will go back to how it was. If you liked your hair before I would just ride it out

I had to cut my hair after each of my two children, it was very sad to wakeup to hair on my pillow everyday. With my son I had to just shave my head I did cry but it grew out.  It will grow back don’t feel sad it happens to a lot of moms.

I had the same experience! it was mostly all around my hairline, and I will admit it did look kind of funny when I would put my hair up! Cutting it shorter (shoulder length) helped me a lot. It gave my hair more bounce and made the hair-falling-out seem less traumatic because longer hair looks like MORE just because it is so long. Mine is growing back nicely, and is getting long again and I am only 1 year later.

Take this time to do something different and funky with your hair! Plus, as baby gets older longer hair is so much fun for them to play with. In fact the other day my hair got caught in the spinning wheels of a toy train. OUCH!

🙂 hang in there!

I lost tons of hair after I had my daughter. I did cut mine into a shaggy bob and loved it. It looked healthier After the cut also. I say cut it.

I was just like what you described I would go into the bathroom and the sick and brush was filled with hair that I had to wear it up and not comb it too much.

It fell out so much it just looked so bad I was left with no other choice.  My doctor had told me it would happen but I did not think it would be so bad that I would have had to shave it but I did.  just do a lot of deep condition and get your vitamin level up and it will help the new hair grow in stronger, also once you cut it the faster it will start to grow back.  do not cut short right away just trim the ends and shampo less and deep condition and also go see a professional if it gets worse.

you still will have your beautiful hair 🙂  and if it gets any worse and you do cut it I found a friend in extensions.
