emma34:  I did my own flowers and it was one of the easiest DIYs of my wedding.  I used fiftyflowers and Costco, had the flowers delivered 2 days before my event, stored them in water unrefrigerated, and everything worked out beautifully, plus I saved a ton of money.  The only thing I didn’t do was boutonnieres because those need to be done the same day and kept chilled (I did boutonniere alternatives instead).  Here are a few picstotal cost $320 (includes tax, shipping, etc)

Its really up to you on whether you think you are up to the task and if it is cost efficient.  For me, costs of DYI and the time to make everything will be too much for me (even though I wish I could).  Im just lucky that my florist is only charging me $10 each centerpiece because I found my own vases.  Also, the bouquiets and such, his work is so amazing that I dont mind paying for it because I would never be able to make them as pretty as his!  and it saves me on time because I would have to run around the night before the wedding to get fresh flowers, put them togethre and worry about how to keep them fresh in the fridge since I cant lay them down without ruining the flowers itself (you have to somehow keep them upright).  i didn`t want to stress about it so i just went with the best but best priced florist I could find.
