I think it would look beautiful with either option.  Having one wedding band would probably “showcase” your e-ring more. However, having two will give you more bling.

(Edited to remove the question I now see you had already answered in your original post. 🙂

I went with two bands on mine…I have fairly large fingers and felt with just one band, the ring was too “dainty”… plus I like the extra bling factor and the symmetry of the two bands.

I like symmetry with the curviness of your ring.

though not one of your options, our e-rings are kind of similar…and I’ve decided to go against the grain and move my engagement ring to my middle finger.  My wedding ring will be a diamond wedding band that is the exact style and width of one thread of the split shank.  I figure I will wear my wedding band 24/7, and the e-ring most days…but it will be nice to be able to take it off when necessary and still have the wedding ring on.

i think it would look perfect with just one band, your ring is beautiful and amazingly unique, imo more than one band would overshadow your e-ring.

I like symmetry. Two would be beautiful.

I think both options would be beautiful.

You can always start with one and add another later, or get both and only wear one some days and two the rest. 🙂

I voted for one.  I just really like the obviously “bridal” look of one band behind the e ring. It’s the lack of symmetry that makes it such a traditional look.

I think your ring and mine have a lot in common with each other. The one thing I love about mine is that the diamond stands up and out against all the tiny little diamonds in the setting. From the pictures, yours looks to do the same. So even with all of the little diamonds and distractions, the main diamond itself stands out and doesn’t “blend in” with the rest of the setting, as I think many do nowadays, which allows you to do the double band but still keep the look of the focal point of the engagement ring.

I know some girls with double bands that got the second for their one-year anniversary…so you could always try out one for a year and see if you want to add more.

In my opinion a wedding BAND is singular. Therefore you get 1 only 1.
