i think four prong would look best.  the six prongs might overpower the diamond a bit. and those bands are beautiful!

My original e-ring diamond is .42ct (or something like that) and I originally had it in a 6 prong setting.  The prongs overwhelmed the diamond.  I changed it to a 4 prong setting and thought it looked soooo much better!  The 4 prong is my choice.

I don’t have any photos of it to post, but yes, the diamond in the 6 prong setting looked much smaller than when it was in a 4 prong setting.

I’ve always liked 4 prongs and that is what I have for my round diamond. I think 6 prongs can overwhelm the diamond.

I like the classic 6 prongs and it’s safer for the diamond, if one of the prongs breaks you won’t lose the stone with 6 prongs.

I vote 6.  I like the look of both though.  With 4 I think it makes a round look more like a cushion, and a 6 will emphasize the round shape.  6 will be a safer setting because there are more to hold the stone in place should you break one.  From what I’ve seen, I actually think 6 prongs make round stones look larger if you are concerned with that.
