I had that issue about a month ago! I say, if the short hair feels "you" --- do it!!!! I have had way too many people give me crap about cutting my hair shorter (they gave me the whole "well what are you going to do for your wedding?" guilt trip - as though you can't have shorter hair for bridal looks!) but you know what, why have something you don't love?
I say go for it!
I am waiting for the post-wedding chop only because the hairstyle I want requires longer hair!
But you seem to feel better with shorter hair and you have ideas for shorter wedding hair - so do it up!!!!!
I was going to say go for it, but i see you've already decided! Show us a pic tomorrow!
Great - it sounds like you'll be totally happy with it and I'm happy for you.
Go for the cut!! And post pics :) I am only growing mine out a bit just so it can curl without looking like a poodle. But otherwise I would keep mine short too!
I say you pretty much know what's right for you - you sound so giddy about the short hair and the way it makes you feel. You can TOTALLY do something great with it for the wedding no matter the length ... as a matter of fact ... I have extremely long hair and am considering a much shorter length for when the time comes - so I say Go For It!
I had the EXACT same problem... had it short, loved it, started to grow it after getting engaged, hated it b/c its so dang thick, and then chopped it off again. And I'm SOOOO glad I did. I would hate to get married looking like a version of myself from 10 years ago when I had long hair. I just wish I had cut it before our e-pics b/c those don't really look like the "me" that I wanted to see it in them. So I say CUT IT!
I'm a short haired bride I and say keep it short if that's what makes you feel good!!
You made the right choice! That looks phenomenal. Short haired brides unite!!!
Too cute! Love the sass! Nothing says you have to have long hair to be a bride. And I love your flower on the side idea.
Lovin the inverted bob on you! I used to rock it myself, but I broke down and decided to grow it out for the wedding (plus I just moved, and I am wayyy too nervous to trust a new hair stylist at this point)! I think you made the right decision!
If you want long hair for the wedding, you can start growing it out now, after your fabulous cut and e-pics. Your wedding isn't until next summer - plenty of time to grow it out! Your short hair looks great though!
Cut it if you feel better that way! You can find great hairstyles for short hair & something that YOU love.
Love the short sassy cut! I'm glad you decided to go for it. Your wedding day should be about you being true to yourself! There are so many cute hair accessories these days that work on any hair style.

Hey gals,
I have a hair appointment at 9am tomorrow and just need some affirmation I am making the right choice. I have had the classic "victoria beckham" sassy haircut for a while and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I feel like, it's the BEST haircut I could ever have. And the last 6 months, I have been growing out my hair for my wedding, but it is EXTREMELY thick and hard to manage.
So now, it's at the awful in-between phase and I'm thinking about cutting it because our e-pics are coming up next week (eeeee!! YAY!!!) and I want to look like... how do I say this... like, the best version of myself!! You know what I mean? I am looking at a career choice coming up, and having the "sassy" hair gives me the confidence and attitude to help me in interviews. Plus, I have seen some totally cute short-hairstyles for wedding (i.e. curly all over, flower in the side, half up, poof on top, etc.) so I'm confident I can find an awesome hairstyle, and then I can keep my sassy-hair, which I love so much.
Thoughts? Has anyone had this same problem, to cut or not to cut???
