a tray of a shelf might be a good idea, some of the guest might not want to dig in if their shoes are at the bottom of the basket.
Our venue provided grass beach mats and I think those are a better option. I don't think I'd want to dig through a bunch of strangers shoes to get to mine but with a mat its much easier to spot your pair.
Yeah, I found some mats so I'm going to go with that idea instead.
What do I put on the sign to let people know what it's for?

For our beach ceremony, I was thinking about having mats for guests to put their shoes on if they didn't want to wear their shoes on the beach. The basket will probably be put behind the last row of chairs, so they will see it when they walk down the stairs to the beach.
First, is this a good idea?
Second, what do I put on the mat or sign? I need a cute saying or something to let people know what it's for. I'm having a brain-fart right now lol.
