I am a ring addict (as most of you on these boards can probably tell haha). I’ve been in love with a ring I first saw in an advertisement for Brilliant Earth, and have found a couple pics of similar rings on Pinterest.
I’ve been shopping around for quotes on custom making this ring. I’ve contacted quite a few places, and am just waiting to hear back from a few of them.
I really want a ring that is dramatically different than my engagement ring, which is a princess cut solitaire on a pave band. The ring I’m hoping to have made is an art deco/floral/halo design. I plan on using it as a RHR most of the time, but also as a standin when needed.
Let me know what you bees think!

I think it’s pretty, but it looks like it’d be a nightmare to keep clean.

TheGridMonster: Ya, it would be a high maintenance ring to keep clean for sure, but I think I’d be ok with that because I clean my rings pretty regularly. I just bought an ultrasonic cleaner and it works awesome so I think I’d probably just throw it in there every week.

at first i was like “that would not be a great engagement ring to deal with”.
And then i read that you were going to use it as a RHR and i’m all for it. I think its stunning.

Swizzle: Thank you! I really do love it. I think it’s a bit too fussy of a design to wear every day, but I’d probably only wear it if we were going out and for special occasions. I don’t think it suits every day wear, but I really love how it looks a lot like lace.

OMG! I was just admiring that ad before I found your post and thinking how I would love to have it in rose gold with a white sapphire! Are those pics from Etsy? Does someone thete have a ring close to the Brilliant Erath design?

Yes, I love it for a rhr!

That would be lovely as a RHR.
I see it on my ads from time to time 🙂

I think I am missing something. If Brilliant Earth has the ring you want, why would you not order it from Brilliant Earth?

I think it’s beautiful and would definitely make it if I were in the market for a ring. Are you planning to make it exactly as it looks or use different stones (for color, maybe)?
If you do have it made, you gotta show is pictures of the finished product!

lavenderstone: It’s a beautiful ring…there’s a reason they use it for the ads 😉

What a gorgeous ring! 🙂 I might need more cleaning than some designs (because of the openwork) but I think it would make a wonderful RHR.

I’ve seen that ring many times in that ad, I love it! But I love art deco and halos so I’m always going to vote yes on a ring like that!
