Why are the reviews bad?  If its alterations related buy the dress and fix it up somewhere else.  If the reviews are shopping related I wouldnt worry since you havent mentioned having a bad time

See if you can order the dress from another store. If you know who the designer is, visit their website to see if there are any stores near you that can order the dress.

How was your experience? That should be what matters to you.

I would buy the dress, but have it altered somewhere else.

I must say that you are going to encounter this with a lot of bridal salon’s.  Not everyone will have good experiences and therefore there will always be some good reviews and some bad out there.  Now if you hear nothing but bad things from this salon then by all means do not do business with them and go else where.  Use your judgement, I’m sure you’ll make the right decision.

@checra1012 I agree.

Just check it out really good, overhaul it, make sure there are no issues with it prior to purchase. Good luck!

It’s very true that all bridal salons will have mixed reviews. If you feel nervous about it then i would suggest buying the dress from them and taking it elsewhere for alterations. In my opinion, making sure the dress they ordered you is the correct dress, size and quality is important. After that, the alterations can sometimes make it or break it and you want to go somewhere that you trust fully. Try looking around and gathering reviews on some other bridal salon alterations places – my salon would do alterations for dresses purchased elsewhere. Truth be told I did not even think to look up reviews of my bridal salon and I ended up having an amazing experience.
