I would try Zappos. Their big advantage is that you can order anything you like, postage free, and return it up to a year later as long as you haven't worn it outside. That will let you not just try on your shoes, but wear them around the house, stand in them for a few hours, dance a little, and generally see if you are sure you want to wear them for 6+ hours the day of your wedding (and you'll be standing for most of that!) I don't think 4 months is too early - I ordered and returned shoes for most of the three months it took for my dress to arrive. I finally narrowed it down to one of two pairs the day before my first fitting!
I got my dress really quickly, but it took me about 4 months to find the right shoes.
I did end up getting them from Zappos, just since that's where I happened to find the right ones, but Endless.com (which is affiliated with Amazon) also has 365 day returns (free shipping both ways), and their free shipping is overnight. Zappos is very quick, but they don't garauntee overnight shipping, and I'm a sucker for instant gratification. :)
Most of the (13) pairs of shoes I got in an attempt to find the right ones came from endless.com because I prefer the search engine there. They also have a lowest price garauntee that I have used, so if you see a better price elsewhere on a shoe they carry, get them to match it and get free overnight shipping, to boot.
