Alright, so here's the deal. I'm making my own garland to hang across my ceiling this year. It's my first BIG DIY project, and while it's super fun, man alive. It's alot of work. I'm making 4 different sized strands so I can have some variety when I hang it.

I have three places I can hang it: across the ceiling, across the entry btw my living and dining room, or across the curtain rod in the living room. There's an entry way I'd love to hang it in, but it's too low and I'd run into it all the time.

The problem with hanging it across the ceiling is that I'd have to make about 20 more feet of it. I've made probably about 20 more feet and it's taken about 15 hours (roughly). The problem with hanging it across the entry btw my living and dining room is that I'd have to cut some of it off (!!!) because it would be too long unless I let it drape down the walls.

LOL how do you know what I'm doing? Did I tell you? I can't even remember. I wish I could find a picture of it! I know of several I have stored in my head! But I can't print those.

Oh my gosh... you're my DIY soul sister! lol I made that last Christmas!!! Not as much as you have, but probably 15 feet. I used it as a garland on our Christmas tree b/c I saw it on Martha!

Ha, that's really, really funny that you made the same one! I think I just like it lying across the floor.

I'm too lazy to hang it up, now!
