No, only three months to finish planning will be too stressful. : (5 votes)

If the venue’s the only thing holding you up, why not? Sit down and think about everything you need to get done and then make a plan to do it. If it seems feasible I would go for it!

I agree with PP… It sounds like it’s meant to be, especially given you are ready in every other aspect! Do it, girl!!

@sarahfw:  Very exciting! I know I used the Knot’s to do list for my own wedding. It might help you out with your planning schedule.

For sure, do it! I was talking to a friend the other day who mentioned that she planned her whole wedding in 4 months (and it was a great wedding, btw). She ended up being glad she did in retrospect because she didn’t have time to go overboard on all the little details, so it ended up keeping her sane. I think it’s totally do-able (and also very exciting) to plan a fabulous wedding in 3 months!

    Go for it!

If you can afford it, important guests are available. you’ve got time to spend a few extra hours each week on planning and you’re not the sort to take ages to make decisions then it’s a great idea 🙂

If your guests can come at such short notice (though three months is a good amount of time), I think it’s doable!! Exciting!!

What about other events? Are your family and friends prepared to do a shower and bach on short notice? Could you check to see if the event is available maybe in Sept? That way it’s sooner but not 3 months soon! Haha

I say do it! If you already don’t want a shower and bachelorette, then that cuts down on short notice. As long as your fiance is on board, I think it would be great to get to enjoy your wedding and begin your marriage sooner!

@sarahfw:  Personaly, I would. Then again, I could not fathom waiting over a year to get married. But that’s just me. If you came in here and said you hadn’t even started planning, I’d say maybe you should hold off. But the fact you have your dress, photogrpaher, and all your other essentials – I’d go for it. You need to sit down today and finalize your guest list and get on those invites – other than that, shoes/hair/makeup and easily be figured out in 3 months!
