If you fit comfortably into the smaller size then I would exchange it

Do you honestly think you’ll lose the weight? It can totally vary. You can lose a lot and suddenly plateau for months and months. . .

Can you check with a seamstress first and see how much room the dress has in it to be taken down if you actually lose those last 15 pounds?

*IF* you order a smaller size, don’t go down more than one size for now.

I say this because when I lost weight, I lost probably 15 lbs in the first month and a half, and I was thinking “Awesome! This is easy!”… the next 15 lbs took 6 months to lose. It started out ok (I had lost 25 lbs total in 3 months), but that last 5 lbs took FOREVER to lose.

So I would be cautious, and if you do order a size down, only order 1 size down.

If you cant try it on before buyin the smaller size, I would just keep the size you already have. Its just less stress for you and its always easier to take it in then let it out
