@CareyJoRichards:  It’s so pretty on you! Definitely agree with PP that you have to love it 100% or risk falling victim to dress regret.

@CareyJoRichards:  If you drove 5 hours to try it on and you still love the dress, then I think you’re probably pretty close to saying yes!  It’s a beautiful dress.

You want the honest truth?  Or some nonsense from PC folks?  I will tell ya straight:  it does not flatter you on the lower half.  You look paunchy in the tummy and it makes your bum look wide.  Not the STYLE for you.  Choose something with a slightly wider silhouette at the bottom, such as an a-line.  And before I get attacked from other bees, remember, she asked the question.  And I do not put on cheerleading uniforms.

i like how your shoulders look in sweatheart neckline  and in the back you look like hourglass and sexy 🙂 . i just don´t like it in the abdomen part.

This is pretty. I think you could maybe find better though. Honestly the thing that’s throwing me is there’s a V in the beading right around where your bikini line would be… maybe I’m crazy but it almost looks like you’re wearing a bathing suit or something in this picture!

If you are going for the voluptous look I say go for it.  I would add spanx.  To each its own.  If you tell me my bum looks big in a dress that’s the dress I am going to buy why becuase that’s what my fiancee loves and I am going to accentuate it.  The bigger the better.  Your bum looks great and I would add some spanx to suck as much in as possible but its beatiful and I am sure your future hubby would love it.  That’s my 2cents. I think mermaid dresses look great on a more voluptous figure rather than a very skinny figure.
