Well I had my tubes tied September 2008. I had my periodabout 2 weeks ago. I know this is about the time that I am probably ovulating but the pain is really really really bad on my right side. I only have one fallopian tube (which is on the right side) due to a previous ectopic pregnancy that resulted in me having to get the left one removed.
I wouldnt normally be alarmed by ovulation pain…but this pain mirrors the pain that I had when I had the ectopic pregnancy.
Should I get checked out?

Yes. If you have had an ectopic pregnancy before you may be at risk for another. If this pain mimics that one than it’s much better safe than sorry!
Go to the doctor – worst case scenario it’s nothing but at least you will have peace of mind!

My personal rule of thumb: if you think you should maybe see a doctor, you probably should see a doctor. It never hurts to get things checked out. Rather be on the safe side.

Trust your gut – if you think something needs to be taken care of, it probably does.
ETA: If it hurts that badly and Fiance is more than about 15 minutes away, you may want to call 911.

Breathe and go to the doctor. I’m sure everything will be fine. Let us know how it goes. <3
