My wedding is less than a month away and I just had my last fitting… everything looks great but I feel like the train may be too long?? What do you think? My seamstress is awesome and there is still enough time to shorten it if I decide in the next few days.
Here it is (it needs to be steamed & pressed still!)

How short would you make it?

IMO a shorter train wouldn’t quite suit the dress. The train length now seems perfectly suited. Keep in mind that you’ll most likely have the train bustled for the majority of the time.

MeiFrancis: About half of what it is now… or a little less.

The train is what makes this dress. Leave it.

No! I fear shortening it may ruin your pretty dress, like other ppl said the porportions are great.

Strawberryshmoo: sheepandbear: Astra: Brimuz1992: Colormepink: Thanks for the feedback. I’m leaning toward keeping it. Should I add some sort of petticoat underneath though? I just don’t want to add more poof in the front…

My vote was for leaving it as it is; shortening thevtrain would change the look of the dress completely. It’s gorgeous as it is.
