I’ve been using Syntha 6 protein shake as my breakfast for a number of years. I just noticed on the back of the package that it says “if you are contemplating pregnancy, you shouldn’t use the product.”
I am going to start TTC in October.
Should I stop right away?
Anyone’s gyn or doctor tell them not to use this product?

Have you done any research on what the product may have in it that could complicate getting pregnant? I have never heard of it, but perhaps giving your OBGYN a quick call could clear some things up.
If it says not to do it, I wouldn’t anymore. You can still find a healthy alternative.

Hm. I just looked at the ingredients and don’t see anything that would hurt you? I drink Pure Protein shakes frequently and that says the same thing. Not sure why MORE protein during pregnancy would hurt you. I don’t eat a lot of meat and am hypoglycemic, so I like protein shakes.
I know some should not be consumed (at alllllllll) because there are ingredients that are really bad for you (Myoplex being one of them), especially the ones geared towards bodybuilders. Yours looks pretty clean, except for the sucralose. Whey and casein proteins is safe during pregnancy.
