I think it definitely sounds like he has a ring for you!!! Super exciting! I wouldn't sent anything in case you make him feel unsure about what he has gotten you. If you really trust his taste just enjoy your time and make sure your nails are pretty :)

It's a tough call whether you should send it 3 weeks out. He said you can if you want to, so it couldn't hurt. Maybe if he's trying to decide b/w two rings, knowing what you like would help the decision. Then again if he's proposing in 3 weeks he may already have it made or sized or whatever.
I think I'd send it anyway and just say "Just thought I'd show you a few rings I saw that I liked, but I'll be happy with whatever you get me!"

Yep, sounds like he's got the ring picked out already :) I'd just wait and be patient because if he knows and loves you, he'll probably pick something amazing and beautiful you'll just love!

Yes, get a gel manicure NOW! I knew my fiance was going to propose on a trip we took - just a serious hunch - and I got a gel manicure the day before we left. Thank goodness! He DID propose and I had awesome looking nails for three weeks before any polish chipped. Perfect timing for showing off whatever lovely shiny thing he's picked for you.
BTW, he picked my ring on his own and did an amazing job. I get so many compliments.

@MissBoPeep: Totally agree with you. I had no idea that my FI was planning to propose when he did, or that he'd picked out a ring. When I would see rings, I'd be like, "Oh, that one is pretty!" After he proposed he said he'd started getting worried because the rings I was pointing out were different than the one he'd already bought, but I LOVE the one I got and I LOOOVE that he picked it out himself!
So moral of the story is, if you think he might have bought one already, try not to make him nervous or doubtful like I apparently did :-)
This sounds really promising! I wouldn't send any pictures, just because if the style if different from a ring he has already picked out, he might start doubting his decision. Don't take down his confidence! I would just wait and see what happens! I have my fingers crossed that he will propose to you in Hawaii!! That would be incredible. :)

Okay, not telling him anything about what I like or prefer, and I'm just going to see what happens!

Sounds like he already has the ring, so don't send him anything, then he will start second guessing his decision. I'm sure if you two have been together so long he knows your style. Congrats and agreed, manicure time!

I am SO happy I didn't open my mouth and tell him what kind of ring I liked. His mother passed down his nana's ring to him. it's so beautiful and I was speechless! Better than anything I could have imagined!

Hi guys!
In 3 weeks, it will be me and my boyfriend's 6 year anniversary. A week after that, we are taking a trip to Hawaii! He know's that I want to get engaged...A couple that we hang out with a lot got engaged over the holidays, so the pressure is on!
So yesterday morning, he was talking about getting me a nicer road bike. I said," a bike?! " He said "Yes.. it's round, shiny, and all the girls want one.. why wouldn't you want a bike??"
Later that night in bed, he asked me what my ring size is, "to make sure". So I am freaking out at this point, being obnoxious and excited and rolling around all over him. attractive, i know :) I ask him if he wants me to send him an email of the rings I like. (I've told him this a few months already, but I never got the guts to!)
He says, "I'm good". ?!!!!
Whattt? He said if I want, I can still send him pictures, but he says he's "good". I don't get it ! I've never really show him pictures of styles I like or anything. I trust his judgment and taste. I know that he wants our proposal to be a "surprise", so I'm unsure if i want to ruin his plans by showing him what I want.
I have a feeling he might propose during our anniversary or trip.. so i'm trying to give him ring hints before then!! Would I be bossy If I sent him a few rings i like still?
