- Wedding: June 2013
Ok, I am inviting over 200 people to my wedding, so it has gotten a little expensive. I originally chose the cheapest package to try to keep the cost down, but I don’t want my guests to be underwhelmed. I do want my wedding to be a great experience for them and I want to feel like everything was perfect. So… I’m considering upgrading a bit. Please read my current package and let me know if it’s good or if you think I should add something-either my thoughts from the bottom or anything you can think of. Thanks!
As for food, my current package includes:
cold stations-assorted cold salads, fruit display, international cheese board, vegetable crudite
butlered hors d’oeuvres-franks in a blanket, margarita pizza, chicken quesadillas, assorted empanadas, portabella fries, tempura broccoli, buffalo chicken bites
buffet stations-italian sausage and peppers, fried cheese ravioli, stir-fry chicken and vegetables, boneless chicken cacciatore, wine and champagne station, and open bar
choice of prime rib, chicken marsala, or tilapia meuniere
string beans almondine
roasted red potatoes
coffe/tea/espresso.. and open bar
Here are my thoughts for additions:
$3-Italian antipasto (capicola, sopressata, italian sausage, mortadella, prosciutto, olves, cheeses-also FI’s favorite) during cocktail hour
$3-Bananas Flambe (sliced bananas in brown sugar brandy sauce over vanilla ice cream) with flaming presentation, music, lights dimmed, etc.
