Should I use these toasting flutes?

Hey girlies, I need some advice. These toasting flutes were my parent's some 22 years ago. I know that's really sweet and and you're probably saying "AWW!" right now, but they've actually been divorced for a long time. They are still very good friends, and still care greatly for each other. So, should it be alright to use them? Also, for my 'known-to-be-scatter-brained' mother to keep up with these little treasures for this long, they must be sentimental, right? They're very cute, and fit well with my Southern Vintage Romance style. Oh, by the way the are real crystal, and stand a whopping 11 inches tall! Which is hard to come by these days. So, what do you ladies think: Use them, or keep looking?

    Sorry :) They're dusty!!

Do you love them?  If your parents weren't divorced would there be any question about using them?  If you wouldn't hesitate before the divorce, then use them.  If you would, then I wouldn't use them.

    Those are so pretty!

I think it's all a matter of how you both feel about them.

I would use them; however, I would probably also be worried about them getting broken. Just make sure that you pack them very well and have someone in charge to deliver them back to you. They are beautiful and it is very thoughful of your mom to want you to use these.

I didn't use anything from my divorced parent's wedding, but they hate each other so it is probably really different.

Those are adorable. I would use them. My parents are divorced, but if they had anything around from their backyard hippie wedding I would totally use it.

Use them! They are really cute, and considering they still have a good relationship, it really shouldn't bring you any bad luck. Go for it :)

Go for it. Even if they are divorced, they're still your parents and their coming together made you. I think it would be awesome!

Thank you bunches and bunches for the kind advice!! I'm not so worried ab using them anymore. I guess I was just kind of superstitious, or something :) They are really great quality, cute, and will go well with my theme. So, we talked about it, and they're in!! Thank you ladies again!
