futureladyharvey:  Personally I wouldn’t wear the belt. There’s lots of detail on the dress and your waist is defined well by the dress, the belt is not needed and kind of gets lost in the sparkle and beauty of the dress.

I like it better with the belt, but either way its a fantastic dress and looks amazing on you.

Can you share designer and style number?

I voted no belt; it visually shortens your torso.  Without belt, on the other hand, your torso appears elongated and your waist is delicately defined.

I think it’s ‘over-kill’ with the belt, it doesn’t need to be there. If the dress was plain or not completely lace then yes maybe you could have a belt.

It is perfect the way it is and you look beautiful in it!!!

futureladyharvey:  I like the belt but you should go to etsy and buy it instead – it will be a lot cheaper

Ahh! This dress is stunning! I like it with the belt, but it doesn’t require one. You couldn’t go wrong either way!

Your waist is already so accentuated by the silhouette of your dress I wouldn’t add a belt! Save yourself the $300, you don’t need the belt!

I had a very similar dress to yours and I wore it without for the ceremony and formal photos but had a belt for when the belt was bustled and for dancing. I thought it made a nice change and also the best of both worlds. I also bought a belt second hand for $80 so it was much more economical. I’ll post photos for comparison in a bit.

Because there’s so much detail on the dress, I wouldn’t go with a belt! I liked this dress too when I tried it on and a belt never even crossed my mind.
