GypsieFlower:  Nope. I see nothing weird about it at all. I’ve seen it done before. You’re totally entitled to wear a wedding dress at the reception, even one you used before.

Wear your dress! It’s your reception so you can wear what you’d like. I definitely would wear it if I were is your situation 🙂

GypsieFlower:  you MUST wear it! 🙂 it is your day for you to enjoy! (Even if it were a ballgown!)

A friend of ours had 2 part celebration in 2 different countries for the relatives. Obviously second party was just to celebrate because the ceremony was done before and she wore the same dress twice.

GypsieFlower:  My cousin did this back before it was a big thing to have DW.

I’ve seen this done, and I can’t see how it would be weird at all?!

I think it’s nice to let everyone see it, and you get to enjoy your dress a bit more. Glad you’re wearing it.

GypsieFlower:  wear it! I did and it was so fun! I had a small wedding and reception, 17 in total, in april, and then my il’s threw us a big party in September and you can bet I rocked that dress! However, i did have a more comfortable, sexy-ish white dress I changed into later because the party was long and hot.

We were planning an elopment and I wanted to wear the dress to my reception. My fiancé didn’t think I should but I was totLly going too! Same thing though, it was going to be a low key dress not a huge ballgown. Even if it was a ballgown I think guest like to see the dress and the couple all done up! I totally think you should!

I have a friend who wore her wedding dress for her wedding ceremony and both receptions which are months apart. It’s a smart choice – saving stress of finding another dress and make the most out of the dress. You can definitely rock your wedding dress at the reception

Wear it! Who gets to wear their wedding dress twice? Take this opportunity.

Definately wear it! I think it’d be a bit strange to wear anything other than your wedding dress to your wedding reception.
