I need some honest and unbiased opinions. Have I lost enough to wear a bikini for my honeymoon next week? I would wear bottoms that cover and not a bikini bottom. I have swim shorts in black that will cover the same as the shorts in the picture but just can’t find them.
Ive lost 18lbs. Right now I’m 5″2′ 137lbs and size 8. On the fence.

Jennybenny16: Totally depends on how comfortable and confident you are with your body! I personally don’t think you have to have killer abs to rock a bikini, but I have recently switched to more modest tops because I am self concious about my stomach area. If you want to, rock it.

Of course you can! Rock that bikini top and have a wonderful time!

Yes, I don’t see why not!

The only thing I would suggest is make sure your bottoms have a bit more give than what you have on, those shorts make you look heavier than you are!

It’s all about your own confidence! If you feel happy and confident to wear it then go for it. I’ve seen every shape and size in a bikini while on holiday and I don’t judge or think someone shouldn’t be wearing something. Ironically I only think it about myself, lol.

I would kill for that cleav in a bikini! I think I have the same VS one but in green. If you feel uncomfortable you could always wrap a light sarong around, which always makes women look sexy! you are on your honeymoon, show some skin and have a great time!!!!

As long as you wear it with confidence noone will give it a second thought and I think you new husband would be VERY happy!!

Personally I think bikini bottoms are much more flattering than wearing something baggy! And your body looks good. I’m just under 5’4 and at my heaviest I weighed 150lbs, and I rocked a bikini. But it’s all about your comfort level 🙂

Yes! I actually think it would look better with bikini bottoms than with shorts.

I agree with PP, the top is more flattering than the bottom. Do you have the matching set? If yes, I think you should wear both. The top looks great and you’re on your honeymoon. Your DH already knows what you look like and clearly loves you or wouldn’t be marrying you. No one else matters.

Jennybenny16: Your husband married all of you! Do that man a favor and rock that bikini 😉
Honeymoons are a free pass for showing as much skin as you want so take full advantage!

Wear the full suit not the other shorts!! You are on your honeymoom with your husband who loves you and will want to see you in the bikini, you’ve worked your butt off, put it on rock it out and enjoy your honeymoon!!

Yes! FI and I took a vacation to Jamaica last spring and I saw women of all shapes and sizes wearing 2 pieces and I thought it was awesome that so many of them were comfortable enough to do that. It made me more comfortable to rock my 2 piece. If you feel comfortable go for it!
