I would hate to have down hair covering any of that open back.
My first inclination is up, but I also think a side ponytail would look nice.

However they feel most comfortable. I always like my hair up and I had a BM who always wears her hair down.
Ooh the one photo above is beautiful! I also love the idea of a side ponytail though.
What about down, but swept to one side? Kind of like the way the girl in the picture is wearing her hair, but I would have it on one side, just not confined by an elastic or hair piece.
@AmeliaBedelia: My bridesmaids could pick however they each wanted their hair and they all picked things like this - except a couple had it off to the side. Looked so nice and my mom said everyone looked gorgeous, not like a boring bridesmaid.
That dress is stunning! With an open back, I would go with an up-do or an elegant side pony-tail to show off the characteristics of the dress. The picture of that low messy bun is stunning! It would go really nicely! :)
That's a gorgeous dress. I would let them choose their hairstyle. I think if their hair us up, they have to have a very graceful, tapered neck to pull it off (just my opinion).
I know I have a kind of hump on my neck (not a tumor or anything, it's just not pretty in profile haha) and I would be uncomfortable with exposing so much in the back. So putting myself in their shoes, if anyone had this problem, I would like the option of choosing?
Personally I would let them wear their hair however they liked. Why dictate how they wear their hair? It is a beauitful dress hair up or down
I would never tell my bridesmaids how to wear there hair. Ive helped pick theyre dress and Ive made there jewelry and told them what company of shoes to go with hair makeup etc is just going to far in my mind.
I don't like matchy matchy bridesmaid hair, I think it looks unnatural.
typically id let them choose (or id just leave hair down b/c thats how i prefer it) but with that GORGEOUS back.. youve got to have it up to show off the dress!!

I just found my bridesmaid dresses yesterday....yay!!....do you ladies think they should wear their hair up, down or maybe a side ponytail?? Your thoughts....??
