@loveknows:  No, no.  After the baby outgrows the carseat, you just put the carseat off to the side and use the stroller like normal.

We LOVE our travel system, and when they’re little, it’s so easy to just snap them in the stroller and go.

FWIW, DD is 9 months, and she is still in her infant seat, although she is on the smaller side.  So, while we definitely have to get her out after Christmas, I got this much use out of the infant seat.  The stroller I will use until it breaks.

Our baby is only 11 weeks, but we really like the travel system. Clicking the car seat is is very easy. One thing I’m glad we returned is the shell stroller that the car seat clicks into. These are not usable once your child out grows the car seat.

@loveknows:  OMG, DH made me practice with the stroller and carseat in our apartment parking lot before the baby came.  We had stroller lessons for like a week, until I got the hang of it all.

Don’t worry, before too long, you’ll know how everything works without even thinking about it.  People will try to help, and then look at you helplessly, and you’ll be able to navigate it all like a pro!
