We are having one issue with our guest list, and I’m trying to decide on weather or not to invite 2 of our neighbors. Numbers are not an issue, but I’m trying to decide if it looks like a gift grab or not.
We have only been in our home for 1 year, but we have two sets of neighbors that have made that year awesome! Couple 1’s husband has a large riding lawn tracker, which he loves having out, so he will mow our yard when he does his (without us ever asking) and push snow (again, without us ever asking) and his wife has a stash of wedding decorations which she says I can go through anytime I would like!
Couple 2 has offered us a lot of help as well, including borrowing some pretty necessary items to keep our house working, like a chain saw when a tree fell in our driveway. They also have offered us the use of airmatresses for out of town guests the week before the wedding.
Even with how awesome they are, we are getting married in my home town, almost 2 hours from where we live. Also, we have only known them for a year at this point (a little under 2 by the time we get married) I’m going back and forth about inviting them, and so is FH. If they did show up, out of a wedding of 300+ people, they would obviously only know eachother and us. They are both also older, retired couples, if that makes a difference to anyone.
