We are having an open bar, and there is a price per person, including wine. But there is an additional charge for the wine on the tables. I really do not understand this. Most people I know will have wine with dinner. But can’t they just get the wine from the bar?
So, should we pay the additional charge for the wine on the tables?

I don’t think you need to put wine on the tables! People can get their own wine, in my opinion. Unless you’re going to be super bothered by people getting up during dinner, I’d just skip that cost.

Don’t do it. As someone who drinks a lot, I would definitely have 2-3 more drinks just because it was there. Easier to just avoid that all together.

Even the manager at our venue told us this is unnecessary. People can get up and get what they want to drink, including wine.

Will non alcoholic drinks stil be served at tables?
My only concern would be a rush on the bar during dinner if there is NO table service.

I think that having wine at the bar you don’t need to have it at the tables too. We are only having pitchers of water at the tables and all other drinks will come from the bar. don’t waste the money…
