I think the inserts are fine since most the guest were going to be going on the cruise anyways. LOVE your invitations btw.

I think it’s fine to send the insert if that’s really the more affordable option and new invitations would be expensive, especially since it is a small wedding. I would edit the insert so that Carnival Cruise Lines is all on one line. It’s is not pretty to have it split the way it is. Line breaks should fall between sense units. You might even include information about whom to contact if there are questions about the change (unless you are sure everyone would know whom to contact anyway).

I think that’s fine.  Just make sure those who aren’t sailing know the new plan.

You also need a comma after Maryland.  I would do the lines like this:

    Due to changes

within Carnival Cruise Line (or Carnival Cruises),

our nuptials scheduled to take place

    in Baltimore, Maryland,

    will now take place

    while the Carnival Miracle

    is at sea.

We appologize for the inconvenience. (or with a break before “for”)

I think it’s fine. I would make the suggested edits above, and you’re golden.

I am going against the grain here, but I think it should be redone. It just seems to be confusing.

Go with the origial invites with the enclosure card.  If people have questions, they will ask.

Also, not to be nit picky, but I do not believe that a comma should follow Maryland as there is no break in the wording.  Please don’t take my word for it, but I think you were right the first time.

I love you for putting Lucille Ball and Ethel Mertz (Vivian Vance was so beautiful too!)

To answer your question – I love it.

I vote with the crowd to keep the invites and use the insert.  One question though, it looks like an invitation but the bottom reads “invitation to follow”…is this your invitation or save the date?
