If you are not going to do the accents in a different metal colour, I would leave them off all together.  I like them in rose gold, as I like the contrast, but in white, I don’t think they would look as good.

I completely agree with jcent.  Without the color difference you might as well leave the shoulders off since it will be barely noticeable.  I think the main reason for them is the contrast between the main metal and the accents.

it’s simply stunning without the shoulders… like pp without the color contrast its not really worth it… it’s way more stricking without them! IMO

HeartsandSparkles:  You have an understandable concern; however, Verragio are very detailed ring designs so you have nothing to worry about.  Oh and I agree with you.  Although I like rose gold in general I’m not sure if I would want the two toned look forever either.

HeartsandSparkles:  then you should def go without the shoulders and be different… lol don’t feel like a brat (although it made me chuckle!) it’s your forever ring and you want it to be special to you!

Your ring has so much detail- it’s anything but plain.  I think the shoulders detract from the other lovely details of the ring.  And in white gold they definitely don’t add anything.

This is silly, I know. But what do you do with your hands? I feel like I would get all kinds of gunk in those little spaces making it a bitch to clean. I’m a low maintenance girl and I think all verrago settings are usually too fussy for my personal tastes, but I’d be worried about having to clean it all the time. I voted no shoulders
