That's great to hear! It's tough to be positive while waiting. But try as hard as you can because let me tell you... When my younger brother got married I was positive all the way up until they both said "I do" (literally... in the church). THAT'S when it hit me and the tears started rolling down my face, and the thoughts in my head turned on me. I looked at my mom and dad and they looked at me, and they knew exactly why I was crying. It was a horrible feeling to have that day. My b/f had just lost his job and I was even further away from a proposal than I ever was before. And there I was, sitting at my YOUNGER brothers wedding. Although I was happy for them, I felt so down.
SO! Try to stay positive. Keep your mind off of it (I know, easier said than done, lol)

I think you're just genuinely happy for her, so that if it does happen you'd just be excited for her. I think its a great attitude to have. I'm sure while helping her plan her wedding you'd bookmark a lot of cool ideas for her. Either way you win.
I think I myself am having a good waiting period. Lets see how long it lasts.
Gwen von d- Yeah, Gonna stay positive and don't think I'll mention it to my guy until it happens. I usually tell him good things that happen to my friends, but I don't want him thinking I'm trying to throw hints...I just say it now.LOL
Picturemeurs- I really am really excited for her! She's been with her guy longer, so I know she's been waiting! I'm excited for her Facebook reveal when it does happen. Definately gonna book marking!LOL I hope your good waiting period lasts. It probably will. Heck, I thought I was in a bad period.LMAO

I'm glad you're happy for them! I would love to have a friend getting engaged around now just so I could talk weddings all day and to watch what they're doing!
You're definitely in a good place and it's great that you can be happy for her...you know what's meant for you IS for you and when it's the right time!!

Good for you! Thats awfully refreshing to hear. I never quite understood the people who weren't happy and/or just plain angry at their friends engagements. Doesn't sound too "friendly" lol!

Missbuffalo- I thought this too! I was like I hope he proposes soon and maybe e could get married in the same year! Oh, and bridal shows! SO much fun. Already thinking of fun thingss to do together!

sdbride2011- Thanks! Thankfully all the friends are married but this one and with the others I wasn't with my guy, so I never had to deal with maybe being upset. Thankfully. I just hope he asks soon. I know how much she wants it soon!LOL

My friend just told me she thinks she is about to get engaged in a few weeks. I thought I'd be sad or just like, "Oh,no, I'll be all alone!"
But I'm just happy for her if it does happen.
I think I might be in a good waiting place right now.LOL
