This is what I got for my solitare ring, I have one on each side. It's not a halo, but it is the curved ring.

This is what it looks like together before it was soldered.

Curved rings tend to not make a halo effect. They are usually made to fit around rings that have a halo, or a setting that a regular ring won't sit flush against. To get the halo effect you may need to find one that sits up higher.
Good luck!!!
That is very pretty thanks! Also, thanks Candy for the response! I haven't tried on that type with my ring yet.

FI and I are starting to figure out what I want to get for my wedding band(s). Originally, I was just going to get two matching bands that match my setting, but I'm starting to move away from that because it would be too matchy-matchy.
I love the look of halo rings, although mine is solitaire with round an baguette stones on either side. I was thinking of possibly getting two wedding bands with round stones that are curved to give the illusion of a halo effect (kind of), but I can't find ANY pictures of what this would actually look like.
Here is a picture of my e-ring off of the bluenile site. My e-ring is from Blue Nile.
I'm now thinking either of getting one eternity band of 2.5 tcw or so with round brilliant stones (my e-ring center stone is round/ brilliant). Or I'm thinking of getting two curved wedding bands. See attachment for an example from blue nile, although I think I would get them elsewhere so that the diamonds would go all the way around.
Does anyone have any pictures of what their solitaire ring looks like with curved wedding bands?
