The only “show me” thread I found for this topic was 2 years old. So, I’m taking a chance and “recreating the wheel” instead of resurrecting the older thread. Hope that’s OK. I wasn’t sure which was better, honestly.
Anyhow, in another thread I posted today, I mentioned how excited I was over being able to wear my original wedding band again. I had hoped folks would post pics in that thread, but it didn’t pan out. So … here I am, looking for some metal-only wedding band ring porn! *wootwoot*
Engraved, plain, vintage, heirloom … any metal type … whatever you’ve got, I would love to see them, ladies!
Here are a couple of my pics:
My original wedding band (which fits again — eeee! yep. can’t get over it. LOL)
And a fun picture of my collection of sterling silver bands. For the past 16 years, I’ve been a wedding-band only gal, so I gathered up a pretty good collection.

longtimemrs: Honestly it’s such a PITA to post pics on this site now, I hardly do it. But I will do it for you since I have two “metal only” wedding bands.

jadlnc: Yay! You’re so sweet to post such amazingly wonderful pics for me. Thank you, thank you!!(And yeah … the difficulty with posting pictures now makes me sooo sad. I got a message earlier today saying they were going to work on giving back the ability to keep/store uploaded photos. Hopefully that will happen!)
Your bands are wonderful! I love both of them and how they are each so different from the other. Love seeing them all stacked together!!
Also, I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this to you on the forum, but I LOVE your topaz. (London Blue Topaz? Am I getting that right? I hope I am.) It is so, so beautiful, and I love that shade of blue. I had never heard of this stone before seeing your ring pictures here on WB.

Well, this pic is kind of lame, but it does show my plain yellow gold band. I was trying to get creative with Valentine’s Day chocolate, and it didn’t work out, LOL. I do love yellow gold though. I am actually planning on resetting my ering in yellow gold. I can’t wear it in earrings or necklaces because I’m a “winter”, so I enjoy wearing it in rings where it doesn’t “clash”.
I can’t wait till my tulips come up so I can get my rings in some spring time pics!

This is the only picture I have on my phone. My band is rose on one side and white on the other.

- Wedding: May 2014 - Tennessee
I just got my hands on my band (still can’t wear it out and about for another 2.5 months… Grr) and I’m super excited to post it.
It’s 14k rose gold, 3mm comfort fit, milgrain obviously. 🙂 I loooooove it so much.

Mine is a plain 14k rose gold band:

Sorry, that is the worst picture ever. I am in my living room and don’t want to get up.

longtimemrs: Aww. Thanks! It is a london blue topaz. I love both my rings so much it is really hard to pick just one to wear!

Bridey77: EEEE! LOVE that picture! I don’t think it’s lame at all. I think it’s cute, creative, and playful. Super fun!! I love your yellow gold band. It looks like a perfect mate for your wonderful heart solitaire, which (you know) I adore. My original band was yellow gold on the outside edges, with white gold in the middle — where the “squares” are. The plating has worn off the white part so now it has that softer, gentler look of undipped white gold. I find I like it very much.
Jabberwocky: Gorgeous band! I love the shape of it, and it is stunning with your ERing. The rose gold is so, so pretty. It looks amazing against your skin tone.
Ravenne: Wowza!! Another rose gold beauty, and it looks stunning on you. I really like the milgrain on the edges. It’s so pretty and kind of flirty/playful. No wonder you can’t wait to wear it: your set is STUNNING!! 2.5 months will fly by, I am sure!
lolot: I just love, love, love your set. I have from the first moment I started lurking on WB and saw pictures of it. Your wedding band is amazingly beautiful. I love how it’s simple and, yet, not simple, all at the same time. And to be able to wear your grandmother’s wedding ring! I can only imagine how special that must feel. I never knew any of my grandparents, and any wedding jewelry they had was lost long ago. I would love to have such a special connection.
baileyjosephine: Beautiful!! I love the slim size and appearance of your band. It seems so perfectly balanced and looks beautiful on your hand. Classic, simple, elegant, and perfect!!
MammaPants: Definitely not the worst picture ever! I don’t think it would be possible to take a bad picture of that stunning band! I just love the intricate, swirling design. It reminds me of waves on the ocean. Or maybe delicate flowers on a curling vine.
Ladies, thank you all for posting your pictures. Your bands are all wonderfully fantastic!!

longtimemrs: I found it on etsy after months of searching for a full eternity band that looked like leaves with cut outs. I couldnt believe it was my size and in budget. Its my go to when I don’t want a tall blingy set…which these days, is all the time. Lol.

Hyperventilate: Oh my goodness! I am hyperventilating over your stunning set! I love the beautiful detailing / carving on your band and on the band of your ERing, too. Amazingly gorgeous!!
MammaPants: It is so, so pretty! I can totally understand how it would become your “go to” ring!
jadlnc: You’re so welcome! I can imagine it would be a hard choice deciding which of your stunners to wear each day. But that is a fantastically excellent problem to have!
