we had navy mess dress whites, but the rasberry dresses sure were a great contrast to the uniforms and the black tie tuxes
Yellow would look really nice, and it's also a color in the CG flag, so that's a nice tie-in. I wouldn't do navy, just because it could be really hard to match the specific shade.
I would also try to pick dresses that have a similar level of formality to his uniform, depending on if he's doing mess dress/full dress. A lot of people don't know the difference outside the military, so it's important to choose something that will give them an idea of the level of formality in comparison.

my FI is in the Coast Guard and will be wearting his navy colored dress blues. as will half the groomsmen, the other half will be in black tux with navy vest etc.
I'm trying to figure out what color to have my girls where. I have been thinking like a pale yellow. but am still undecided. I would love to see what colors you chose and how they looked!!
