This is a RHR I have. Stone size is exactly 0.5 ct. My ring finger is size 4, sorry, not quite as small as yours.

Unless you can afford a good quality 2+ carat center stone, then I really wouldn’t worry about it looking so huge that it’s “fake” or getting in the way of day-to-day activities.

I have a pretty small finger (5.5) and a 1.33 carat diamond in a delicate halo. I won’t post a pic unless you want me to since my finger is definitely bigger than yours. I get comments that it’s “huge” (I don’t think so), but mostly I think it’s a great size for me.

People often experience shrinkage when they get used to it, so that’s something to consider too.

I think a 1 carat diamond would look perfect on you.. but I wouldn’t hesitate to go up to 2 if you can afford it.

My ring ( first engaged in 1993 hence the style of diamond.Married in 2011) my ring size is 3. 3/4 on that hand and a 4 on my right hand. I am also 5’9 so call my hands fairy hands. The diamond is .5 and has ruby side stones

I have a size 5 finger, (and I could probably go down to a 4.75). Here is my 1.26 carat peridot white gold ring. It looks HUGE on my finger and I love it. (:

It’s not a diamond, but the size should help you!

have the same size finger as you. I didn’t want to go too big. My set is 3/4 ct total with a .32ct princess stone. My round solitaire is .32ct… I hope to upgrade to a .50ct round solitaire.  I plan to wear a plain gold band when I cannot wear my set.

I wear an I 1/2 which I think is a 4 but it’s still a little too big. My solitaire is .5 ct and is perfect for me 🙂

I don’t have fingers quite as small as yours AND I don’t have a ring to post lol. However, just thought I’d suggest you go into some brick and mortar stores to try on different carat sizes.  I really think stones look larger in pictures than they do in person. After looking at all the ring porn on this site and others, I was really surprised at how the size I thought I wanted looked on my finger.  Good luck!
